If you want honest critiques from legit. artists you came to the right place. DA is known for butt kissing as are friends. Still I have to tell you I hate the argument of "you dont have the right to judge my art because your not a fellow artist/at my skill level" if that was the case you may as well dismiss just about everyone. People can still know what they're talking about, even if they're not expert at the medium.
As for improvement you can make great use of reference pictures. Not just of super model bodies but practicing other body types gives you a better idea of anatomy and such. You can also do a "study."
